Read my thoughts on how we can make a difference in Maryland.

Greetings!  I pray everyone is staying safe and being well.  While it is “the most wonderful time of the year”, many of us are struggling through added depression this Holiday season because of the inability to take part in traditional events such as traveling to see family members in other states. We have been exiled (separated) from our loved ones and friends for close to a year.  2020 was  not the first time families have been separated from each other.  In Scripture, a similar situation was happening with the Israelites and the prophet Jeremiah wrote letters to the exiles in…

Dear fellow Republican Central Committee Members:: Hi everyone!  I hope everyone had a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving with their loved ones! Just a quick email to you.  Last year, a very important political event was happening in Baltimore.  The scandal and removal of Mayor Catherine Pugh. God has placed this on my heart so I ask for understanding in my quest for answers. Two years ago, two sisters (5 and 7 years old) were shot in Baltimore. The seven year old died. I went to the candle light vigil. I wish there were 12 days of peaceful protest over the destructive violence which cost the life of one beautiful Black child and a bullet in the back of her younger sister while she was playing with her baby doll. I support peaceful protests. If protests continue today, it will be the 12th consecutive day of protests…

“Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.” – Frederick Douglass It is with a sad and humble heart I send these thoughts out to anyone who may want to read it.  Our country stands at a crisis point on race relations which is long overdue.  My interest in our resolving this important issue comes from four perspectives – a child of God, a Black man, an American citizen…
